Care Assistant - Personal Home Carer
Carers like you change lives!
As a Care Assistant in Exeter you'll play a vital role in safeguarding and supporting the vulnerable people in your local community during these unprecedented times. You will be assisting service users in their own homes with personal care tasks, meal preparation, posture care, clinical needs and will be encouraging to socialise in their communities. Without support from people like you, these individuals may live a life in specialist units or hospitals, rather than in their own home.
Complex care roles with Newcross provide you with a unique chance to take on new responsibilities and receive specialist clinical training areas such as PEG feeding and tracheostomy care. You'll also get access to free virtual training opportunities and apprenticeships to take your career in whichever direction you want to go.

What we require
We're looking for people who have either professional care experience or have cared for a loved one. You'll need a valid certificate in Moving and Handling and the right to work in the UK. On top of experience, we expect all of our carers to be able to tell us of a time they have exhibited our core values of: positivity, trustworthiness, respectfulness, understanding, kindness, and calmness. You'll need to live by these values whenever you're at work. Access to your own vehicle would be beneficial, but is not a requirement.
