As a Care Assistant in Exeter and the surrounds, you'll play a vital role in safeguarding and supporting a young man living with complex care needs in his own home.
Complex care roles with Newcross provide you with a unique chance to take on new responsibilities and receive specialist clinical training areas such as PEG feeding and tracheostomy care. Our service user
You'll actively assist a young man living with epilepsy, a learning disability and a range of complex care requirements. You'll be taking him on trips and visiting various groups in his local community alongside a team member.
With experience of caring professionally or for a loved one under your belt, and with a valid certificate in Moving and Handling, and the right to live and work in the UK. We also expect you to demonstrate our core values of positivity, trustworthiness, respectfulness, understanding, kindness, and calmness on every shift. Passion and determination to bring comfort and joy to our service users is a must. Access to your own vehicle would be beneficial, but is not a requirement.
