Join Newcross today as a Care Assistant in Fort William and the surrounds.You will love the variety that comes with working alongside a small health and social care team to provide person-centred care in the homes of our service users. This role involves assisting adults living with complex healthcare needs. You'll be supporting them throughout the day and night to provide quality care in line with their individual care plans. Specialist training will be provided by our full-time nurses.

You'll be required to have experience assisting service users within palliative care, children's services, challenging behaviours and learning disabilities.

Person specification

We require all complex care workers to have around 3 months of experience in a professional care setting or caring for a loved one. You'll need to be a real people person and always be willing to go the extra mile to ensure the best possible outcomes are met.

A valid Moving and Handling certificate is required and you must have the right to work in the UK.

You will need to be SSSC registered or commit to registering before joining the team. You'll need to be a driver for this role.

Please note: To work in a care home in England from 11 November 2021, the post holder is required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 unless clinically exempt.
