Care Assistant Personal Home Carer

As a Care Assistant in Inverurie, Huntly and the surrounds, you'll be the person that brings smiles to the faces of the people in our care.
Your duties will vary, including aiding with personal care, posture care, medication support, feeding and PEG care, clinical needs, social activities and any other services needed. You'll work as part of a small team of health and social care workers in the homes of our clients.
It is essential that you have previous experience of caring for service users within children's services, palliative care, learning disabilities and challenging behaviours.
To apply for this rewarding role, you will need to have a minimum of 6 months of prior experience in a professional care setting or caring for a loved one. This will ensure you have an emotional and clinical understanding of what it takes to deliver home care. You must be SSSC registered or commit to registering when you join our team.
You may need to assist clients with limited mobility, however, if you do not have a valid Moving and Handling certificate, we can provide relevant training modules for you to complete in the induction process. The right to work in the UK is essential.
You will need to be a driver for this role.
