We're recruiting passionate Care Assistants to deliver care in the home for a young boy living in the Southport area. As a Care Assistant in the Southport area, you'll work as part of a close-knit, collaborative team, delivering care in the home to a young boy living with complex healthcare needs. Your support and dedication will allow this young service user to make the most of every day. Your various responsibilities will include aiding with personal care tasks, meal preparation and daily activities such as socialising.

Morning and afternoon shift patterns are available for this role during term times, however, additional flexibility is required during the school holidays.

About you

To apply for this rewarding role, you will need to have a minimum of 3 months of prior experience in a professional care setting or caring for a loved one. This will ensure you have an emotional and clinical understanding of what it takes to deliver home care.

You'll need to be an approachable and understanding people person, ready to become a key part of your service user's support network. You may need to assist clients with limited mobility, however, if you do not have a valid Moving and Handling certificate, we can provide relevant training modules for you to complete in the induction process. The right to work in the UK is essential.

This role requires you to have a driving license.
