As a Female Care Assistant in Street, Yeovil and the surrounding areas, you'll be the person that brings smiles to the faces of the people in our care. This role is a chance to make a real difference in people's lives - without your support, they may live a life constrained to specialist units or hospitals.

Your duties will vary, including assisting service users with their food and drink, PEG care, clinical need, following care plans and getting them involved in social activities. You'll work as part of a small health and social care team in the homes of our clients.

The various shifts for this role include sleep-in shifts, 24-hour shifts and 8 hours of sleep shifts.

Do you meet the criteria?

To apply for this rewarding role, you will need to have a minimum of 3 months of prior experience in a professional care setting or caring for a loved one. This will ensure you have an emotional and clinical understanding of what it takes to deliver home care. You may need to assist clients with limited mobility. However, if you do not have a valid Moving and Handling certificate, we can provide relevant training modules for you to complete in the induction process.

Access to your own vehicle is desirable but not required, and the right to work in the UK is essential.
