Care Assistant - Personal Home Carer
We want you to join us!
As a Care Assistant in Sussex, you'll play a vital role in safeguarding and supporting the vulnerable people in your local community during these unprecedented times. You'll be supporting children and adults with personal care tasks, posture care, feeding and PEG care, meal preparation, clinical needs, social activities and any other services needed.
Complex care roles with Newcross provide you with a unique chance to take on new responsibilities and receive specialist clinical training areas such as PEG feeding and tracheostomy care.
With experience of caring professionally or for a loved one under your belt, have a minimum of 3 months experience under your belt and with a valid certificate in Moving and Handling, and the right to live and work in the UK. You will also need a smart device with internet access to pick up shifts and submit timesheets via our app, HealthForceGo. We also expect you to demonstrate our core values of positivity, trustworthiness, respectfulness, understanding, kindness, and calmness on every shift. Passion and determination to bring comfort and joy to our service users is a must. Access to your own vehicle would be beneficial, but is not a requirement.
You are in control of when you get paid with Flexi Pay! Simply submit your timesheets through our app and you'll gain instant access to an advance of up to 50% of the value of your shifts even on weekends and bank holidays.
