We're recruiting for dedicated Male Care Assistants to deliver care in the home of a service user with MS living in the Whitchurch area of Bristol. As a Male Care Assistant in the Whitchurch area of Bristol, you'll be well-practiced at multitasking and enjoy the variety of tasks that come with delivering care in the home of a male service users living with MS. You'll be helping our service users with meal preparation, feeding and PEG care, personal care, clinical needs, social activities and any other services needed.

With your help, the people in your care can continue living in their own home, rather than living away from their loved ones in a specialist unit.

Our requirements

With at least 3 months of professional experience, or experience of caring for a loved one, you'll be well-placed to apply. You'll need a valid Moving and Handling certificate and feel comfortable helping service users with limited mobility. The right to work in the UK is a requirement. In addition to your caregiving experience, you should be able to demonstrate occasions where you have exhibited our core values of positivity, trustworthiness, respectfulness, understanding, kindness, and calmness. We'll expect you to uphold these values when on shift. Access to your own vehicle would be beneficial, but is not a requirement.

It is highly desirable that you have previous experience with enteral feeding and Positive Behaviour Management.
