Care Assistant - Personal Home Carer
Do you have the skills required for this new complex Care Assistant role?
We're actively seeking an experienced Care Assistant to join our team in Slough, encouraging our service users to live a rich, independent life. In this role, you'll work as part of a close-knit, collaborative health and social care team, delivering care in the homes of our service users.
You'll follow each individual's care plan, playing a key role in supporting them with daily tasks such as eating, personal care, clinical needs, epilepsy support, PEG care, social activities and any additional services required. You'll receive specialist training, tailored to the package of care you're assigned to.
You'll be an empathetic and compassionate caregiver, with at least 3 months of experience caring professionally or for a loved one. You'll be comfortable assisting clients with limited mobility and hold a valid Moving and Handling certificate. You'll be fuelled by your desire to make a real difference in the lives of people in need. The right to work in the UK is a must. Access to your own vehicle is desirable but not essential.
Please note: To work in a care home in England from 11 November 2021, the post holder is required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 unless clinically exempt.
