Newcross Healthcare is seeking Care Assistants and Support Workers to care and support our service users living across Swansea, Llanelli, Neath, Ammanford and the surrounding towns in South Wales.

Roles

As a Care Assistant, you will work with our service users and ensure that they receive excellent care and support at all times in line with their personal care plans. You will assist with personal care, clinical needs, social activities and any additional services needed.

As a Support Worker, you will provide individualised care and support to our service users. You will support them with personal care, clinical requirements, social integration activities and any additional services that will enable them to live as independently as possible.

Minimum requirements

  • The right to live and work in the UK
  • At least 3 months' previous care experience
  • Certification in a practical Moving and Handling course in the last 12 months
  • Have access to a smart device, with internet access to manage your rotas
  • Access to your own vehicle is desirable, but not mandatory

You will be a member of our Swansea branch which is located in Barquentine House on Quay West near the Swansea city centre. We are an 11 minute walk away from the train station and easily reachable by car or bus.
