Newcross Healthcare is seeking experienced Care Assistants to care for children and young adults aged from 8 to 16 years old living in Swansea and the surrounding areas.

You will need to be registered with Social Care Wales to practice in a residential home for children in Wales (mandatory registration introduced 1 March 2008) for this role.

Position

As a Care Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring that children and young adults receive the highest standard of care at all times. You will provide support with personal care, clinical requirements, social integration activities and encourage physical and mental stimulation at all times.

Role specification

  • The right to live and work in the UK
  • At least 3 months' previous care experience
  • Certification in a practical Moving and Handling course in the last 12 months
  • Have access to a smart device, with internet access to manage your rotas
  • Access to your own vehicle is desirable, but not mandatory
