This role is varied, with responsibilities ranging from personal care tasks, making up beds, posture care, feeding and PEG care, medication administration, social activities and any other services needed.
As a Care Assistant in Yeovil and the surrounds, you'll be the person who brings a smile to our service users faces at all times. You will work with health and social care workers eager to make a difference in the homes of our users.

Skills you must possess
You will need to have a minimum of 3 months of prior care experience or caring for a loved one. This will ensure you have an emotional and clinical understanding of what it takes to deliver home care.
You'll need to be an approachable and understanding peoples person, ready to become a key part of your service users' support network. If you do not have a valid Moving and Handling certificate, we can provide relevant training modules for you to complete in the induction process. Access to your own vehicle is desirable but not essential. The right to work in the UK is a must.
