Working as a complex care specialist

We’re looking for those special individuals who are passionate about enriching the day-to-day lives of the people in our care. This is a unique opportunity to forge positive relationships with the service user and their family.

You must be a compassionate caregiver who will promote the dignity and independence of our service users. This means recognising the capabilities of each person, being an advocate for their preferences and enabling them to live a life of their choosing.

Working in personalised care requires resilience and determination to meet the best possible outcome on shift. You must be prepared to remain calm and composed when faced with a challenging situation.

Why you should join Newcross

Delivering person-centred care is at the heart of what we do here at Newcross.

We value and nurture our staff to help them be the very best at their job. In return, we expect them to deliver the highest standards of care.

Here’s what we would offer you:

  • A competitive salary

  • Fixed shift patterns, organised in advance with a rota

  • Avoid NHS wait times with access to a Virtual GP service for consultations, advice and prescriptions from NHS-registered doctors, using your mobile device

  • Mental health support, including phone and face-to-face consultations

  • Agreed mileage payments for most clients

  • Free criminal record check (DBS) and uniform

  • You can withdraw up to 50% of the value of any completed shift and get paid instantly with Flexi Pay, accessed through our handy app HealthForceGo®

  • Over 30,000 of discounts available through our 'Perks at Work' scheme

  • Exclusive training and professional development opportunities

  • 24-hour clinical support through a dedicated, nurse-led central team

  • The opportunity to pick up additional shifts in establishments such as care homes, schools and prisons, depending on your experience.

Skills and experience

We employ support workers, healthcare assistants and nurses from a diverse range of backgrounds. We offer specialist, clinical training to suit the requirements of each package of care. All we ask is that you believe in our philosophy of care: trust, empathy and expertise.

Whether you have experience of care in a professional setting or you have cared for a loved one or friend, we’d love to hear from you.
