Location: Leicester (home or branch based with local travel)
Hours of work: Ideally 3 days per week predominanently Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am to 6pm, some flexibility is required to suit individual client needs. On-call approx 1 weekend per month.

Our approach to Complex Care is to flex and adapt to the needs of the people we care for, our service is dedicated to providing care and support to individuals with complex needs, enabling them to be cared for in the comfort of their own home. The team support both adults and children with needs such as home ventilation, end of life, spinal injury and brain injury.
Based either from home or one of our local branches, you will work as part of our National network of Critical Care Lead Nurses to ensure all high-level Complex Care packages are clinically led, kept safe, and individuals/families feel well cared for and secure in our hands. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, healthcare professionals and prospective clients, being an ambassador for Newcross, undertaking assessment of new referrals and reviews of existing care plans. This role will involve a significant amount of remote working as well as some travel locally and on occasion nationally.
The role will include carrying out individual assessments, risk assessments and care planning which is of a highly clinical nature, taking responsibility for a caseload of complex care packages and addressing any issues swiftly and effectively, showing a solution focused approach to crisis management. You will also provide clinical leadership to the local branch team, ensuring that their clinical competencies are maintained.

You'll be great in this role if you're...
- A registered nurse with at least 2 years clinical experience (Band 6 Equivalent)
- Background working within the NHS, nursing homes, community nursing or district nursing
- A multi-tasker who is motivated by providing the highest levels of service to our clients
- Up to date understanding of the CQC Domiciliary Care Standards and Regulations
- Enjoys working with technology and is happy to work remotely across many Computer platforms (full training will be given)
- Up to date understanding of NMC Codes of practice and Continual Professional Development.
- Full license and happy to travel within commutable distance as required.
