Are you carer looking to take the next step in your career?
As a Care Assistant or Support Worker in Kendal, Barrow, Cockermouth, Whitehaven and the surrounds, you'll be an expert caregiver, keen to spread joy to the people in your care. You will support families and children with key life skills such as plan and cook their own meals. Additionally, you will be helping service users with welfare, benefits, budgeting and employment.
Ready to take control of your working life? Apply today and you could be on shift in 48 hours.
All Newcross carers need at least 3 months of professional experience and the right to live and work in the UK. If you don't already have a valid certificate, we can provide Moving and Handling training during your induction.
On top of your experience in care, you will need to be able to demonstrate situations where you've demonstrated our core values of trust, empathy and expertise. We'll expect you to be a people person through and through, with excellent bedside manner.
You will need access to a smart device with an internet connection to pick up shifts and submit timesheets through our app, HealthForceGo. Access to your own vehicle would be beneficial, but is not a requirement.
We offer access to instant pay
Do you find unexpected costs effect your life? Newcross Healthcare can remove some of the stresses of last minute expenses by offering you Flexi Pay! Our app feature allows you to withdraw 'instant pay' for up to 25% of the value of your shift.
Simply digitally submit your timesheet and you can choose when you withdraw your pay! Weekends and bank holidays are also included.
