Newcross Healthcare is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses and Mental Health Nurses to care for our service users within hospitals and through NHS bank work in Ayr, Maybole and the surrounds. As a Registered Nurse or Mental Health Nurse in Ayr, Maybole and the surrounds, you'll be responsible for the smooth-running of a safe environment for the people in your care. You'll be aiding our service users across hospitals and through NHS bank work. You'll need to safeguard each individual to ensure that they can flourish and that the best possible outcome is met at all times. A multi-tasking superstar, you'll keep your wits about you in a crisis and radiate calmness when leading your team.

Person specification

To join us, you'll need to have over 6 months of post-qualification experience and the right to work in the UK. You'll need a smartphone with internet access to pick up shifts and submit timesheets via our bespoke app, HealthForceGo. Access to your own mode of transport would be beneficial, but isn't necessarily a requirement.

It is essential that you have previous experience of supporting service users in recovery, theatres, critical care, orthopaedic, anaesthetic and/or general hospital nursing.

In addition to clinical knowledge, we're looking for people with the right personality. We'll ask you to tell us of scenarios in which you have demonstrated our core values of trust, empathy and expertise while on shift.
