We're recruiting for professional Student Nurses to deliver care in the home for individuals in Banff and the surrounds. This is a unique opportunity to become part of a small team, working on a package of care and building positive relationships with the service user and their family.

As a Student Nurse in Banff, you'll be well-practiced at multitasking and enjoy the variety of tasks that come with delivering care in the home. You'll be aiding with personal care tasks, posture care, clinical needs, feeding and PEG care, clinical needs and social activities. You'll be working as part of a team of health and social care workers.

It is essential that you have previous experience of assisting service users in palliative care, children's services, challenging behaviours and learning disabilities.

Role specification

You'll be an empathetic and compassionate caregiver, with at least 6 months of experience caring professionally or for a loved one. You'll be comfortable assisting clients with limited mobility and hold a valid Moving and Handling certificate. You'll be fuelled by your desire to make a real difference to the lives of people in need. You must have the right to work in the UK. You'll need to be a driver. You will need to be SSSC registered or commit to registering before joining.

You'll need to have completed at least one nurse placement and obtain 2 references: one from their University and one from the placement.

Please note: To work in a care home in England from 11 November 2021, the post holder is required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 unless clinically exempt.
