Student Nurse Personal Home Carer

As a Student Nurse in Inverurie, Huntly and the surrounding areas, you'll reap the rewards of enabling people to live every day to its fullest potential. You'll be assisting service users with personal care tasks, posture care, feeding and PEG care, making up beds, medication support, clinical needs and social activities. You'll work harmoniously as part of a team of health and social care workers to provide vital care to vulnerable people in your area.
You will be required to have previous experience of supporting service users with challenging behaviours, learning disabilities and working within children's services and palliative care.

What we require
You'll already have a minimum of 6 months experience under your belt and hold a valid Moving and Handling certificate. We do also accept candidates with experience of caring for a loved one. You will need to be SSSC registered or commit to registering before joining. The right to work in the UK is a must. As well as excellence in care, we also need you to demonstrate our core values of positivity, trustworthiness, respectfulness, understanding, kindness, and calmness on every shift.
You will need to have completed at least one nurse placement and will need 2 references: one from their university and one from their placement.
You will need to be a driver for this position.
