We're recruiting for dedicated Support Workers to deliver care in the school of a child in Bridgwater. This is a unique opportunity to become part of a small team, working on a package of care and building positive relationships with the service user and their family.

We're actively seeking Support Workers to join our team in Bridgwater and support a child at school with Epilepsy, Tracheostomy and Ventilation. You'll be supporting with medication support, personal care tasks, posture care, clinical needs, social activities and any other services needed.

This is a unique opportunity to work as part of a team of health and social care workers on specific care packages on a regular basis. Whether you have some professional care experience, or have cared for a loved one or friend, we want to hear from you.

You'll be working Monday to Fridays from 8am to 4:30pm with more flexibility available across the school holidays.

What we require

With at least 3 months of professional experience, or experience of caring for a loved one, you'll be well-placed to apply. You'll need a valid Moving and Handling certificate and feel comfortable helping service users with limited mobility. The right to work in the UK is a requirement. In addition to your caregiving experience, you should be able to demonstrate occasions where you have exhibited our core values of positivity, trustworthiness, respectfulness, understanding, kindness, and calmness. We'll expect you to uphold these values when on shift. Access to your own vehicle would be beneficial, but is not a requirement.
