Support Worker - Children

As a Support Worker in Bridgwater, you'll be providing support and assistance to enable the people in your care to live their life and make the most of each day, within their own home. You'll be administering school support to a child with Tracheostomy, Epilepsy and Ventilation.
Your duties will be varied, with some healthcare support needed, while you may also be required to assist with trips out in the community, shopping, social activities, appointments and day-to-day tasks such as money management and dressing.
You'll be completing shifts from Monday to Fridays from 8am to 4:30pm with more flexibility during the school holidays.

Role specification
With at least 3 months of professional experience, or experience of caring for a loved one, you'll be well-placed to apply. You'll need a valid Moving and Handling certificate and feel comfortable helping service users with limited mobility. The right to work in the UK is a requirement. In addition to your caregiving experience, you should be able to demonstrate occasions where you have exhibited our core values of positivity, trustworthiness, respectfulness, understanding, kindness, and calmness. We'll expect you to uphold these values when on shift. Access to your own vehicle would be beneficial, but is not a requirement.
