Support Worker - Personal Home Carer

As a Support Worker in Bexhill-on-Sea, Hastings, Rye and the surrounds, you'll be providing support and assistance to enable the children and adults in your care to live their life and make the most of each day, within their own home. Your duties will be varied, with some healthcare support needed, while you may also be required to support with personal care tasks, meal preparation, feeding and PEG care, clinical needs, posture care, social activities and any other services needed. You'll form part of a team of health and social care workers.
Additional opportunities are available for applicants to assist service users with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), Ventilated Care, Spinal injuries, Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy, PEG Feeding, Tracheostomy Care and Challenging Behaviour.
What we require
We require all complex care workers to have around 3 months of experience in a professional care setting or caring for a loved one. You'll need to be a real people person and always be willing to go the extra mile to ensure the best possible outcomes are met.
You'll need to be happy assisting clients who may have limited mobility, however, if you do not have a valid Moving and Handling certificate, we can provide relevant training modules for you to complete in the induction process. Access to your own vehicle is desirable, and the right to work in the UK is required.
