We're seeking professional Care Assistants to join our team in the Eastbourne area, delivering quality care in the home for children and adults in need. You'll be passionate about supporting people to live a fulfilling, independent life as much as possible. This role involves working as part of a small team of health and social care workers and aiding with personal care tasks, feeding and PEG care, posture care, clinical needs, social activities and any other services needed.
Further opportunities are available for service users with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), Ventilated Care, Spinal injuries, Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy, PEG Feeding, Tracheostomy Care, Challenging Behaviour.
We require all complex care workers to have around 3 months of experience in a professional care setting or caring for a loved one. You'll need to be a real people person and always be willing to go the extra mile to ensure the best possible outcomes are met. You will need a smart device with internet access to pick up shifts and submit timesheets via our app, HealthForceGo.
You'll need to be happy assisting clients who may have limited mobility, however, if you do not have a valid Moving and Handling certificate, we can provide relevant training modules for you to complete in the induction process. Access to your own vehicle is desirable, and the right to work in the UK is required.
