We're recruiting for dedicated Support Workers to deliver care in the home for children in Taunton. This is a unique opportunity to become part of a small team, working on a package of care and building positive relationships with the service user and their family.

We're looking for carers like you to form part of our team!

As a Support Worker in Taunton and the surrounds, you'll get involved in delivering care to children with complex healthcare needs within their own home. You'll be providing outstanding care and support to our service users at all times in line with their personal care plans. Your daily activities will involve assisting with tasks like shopping, day-to-day tasks, appointments, social activities, dressing and with trips out in the community. Specialist training will be given, tailored to the packages of care you work on.

It is highly desirable that you have previous experience of caring for service users with Airway Management, Tracheostomy and PEG feeding, but an induction and full training will be provided.

We require

With experience of caring professionally or for a loved one under your belt, have a minimum of 3 months experience under your belt and with a valid certificate in Moving and Handling, and the right to live and work in the UK. We also expect you to demonstrate our core values of positivity, trustworthiness, respectfulness, understanding, kindness, and calmness on every shift. Passion and determination to bring comfort and joy to our service users is a must. Access to your own vehicle would be beneficial, but is not a requirement.
