Children's Support Worker - Days/Nights

As a Support Worker in Taunton, you'll be the person that brings smiles to the faces of the children you care for! You'll work as part of a small dedicated health and social care team to deliver personalised care in the homes of children with complex healthcare needs. Your duties will vary, including assisting with personal care tasks, feeding and PEG care, supporting with social activities and following care plans.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of supporting service users with Airway Management, Tracheostomy and PEG feeding, but we'll provide full training and induction.
What you'll need
To apply for this rewarding role, you will need to have a minimum of 3 months of prior experience in a professional care setting or caring for a loved one. You'll need to be an approachable and understanding people person, ready to become a key part of your service users' support network.
A valid Moving and Handling certificate is required, and you must be confident in your abilities to support service users with limited mobility. Access to your own vehicle is desirable, and the right to work in the UK is essential.
