Support Worker - Personal Home Carer
Are you looking for a new role in a rewarding care environment?
As a Support Worker in Oswestry and the surrounds, you'll get involved in delivering care to individuals with complex healthcare needs within their own home. You'll be assisting our service users with personal care tasks, posture care, feeding and PEG care, meal preparation, clinical requirements, social integration activities and any other services needed. Specialist training will be given, tailored to the packages of care you work on. You'll form part of a team of health and social care professionals.
To apply for this rewarding role, you will need to have a minimum of 3 months of prior experience in a professional care setting or caring for a loved one. The right to work in the UK is essential. This will ensure you have an emotional and clinical understanding of what it takes to deliver home care. You will need access to a smart device with an internet connection to pick up shifts and submit timesheets through our app, HealthForceGo.
You'll need to be an approachable and understanding people person, ready to become a key part of your service users' support network. You may need to assist clients with limited mobility, however, if you do not have a valid Moving and Handling certificate, we can provide relevant training modules for you to complete in the induction process.
You'll need to be a driver.
Our Flexi Pay app feature enables our healthcare staff to instantly access up to 50% of the value of your shifts even on weekends and bank holidays!
