At Newcross Healthcare, we're actively seeking an experienced Support Worker to join our team in Worcester and the surroundings. This is a unique opportunity to work as part of a health and social care team on specific care packages on a regular basis.
In this role, you'll provide quality care in the homes of our service users. Assisting them with eating, dressing, social integration and providing emotional support. You may also be required to aid with clinical needs such as medication, PEG & tracheostomy care.
Shift patterns include day shifts (9:30am-7pm / 8am-8pm) and night shifts (10pm-7am / 8pm-8am).
To join us you'll need
You'll already have a minimum of 3 months of professional experience under your belt and hold a valid Moving and Handling certificate. We do also accept candidates with experience in caring for a loved one. The right to work in the UK is a must. As well as excellence in care, we also need you to demonstrate our core values of positivity, trustworthiness, respectfulness, understanding, kindness, and calmness on every shift.
Please note: To work in a care home in England from 11 November 2021, the post holder is required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 unless clinically exempt.
