Support Worker Personal Home Carer
Become an invaluable companion to people in need
As a Support Worker in Inverness, Nairn, Dingwall and the surrounds, you'll be working as part of a small, close-knit team, supporting the people in your care to live an independent life in their own home. Your duties will be varied, with some healthcare support needed, while you may also be required to assist with trips out in the community, shopping, social activities, appointments and day-to-day tasks like money management and dressing.
You'll be required to have prior experience of working within children's services, palliative care and with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours.
You'll be an empathetic and compassionate caregiver, with at least 6 months experience of caring professionally or for a loved one. You'll be comfortable assisting clients with limited mobility and hold a valid Moving and Handling certificate. You'll be fuelled by your desire to make a real difference to the lives of people in need. SSSC registration is required before joining our team and you'll be a driver. You will need a smart device with internet access to pick up shifts and submit timesheets via our app, HealthForceGo.
Please note: To work in a care home in England from 11 November 2021, the post holder is required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 unless clinically exempt.
