As a Support Worker in Inverurie, Huntly and the surrounds, you'll be the person that brings smiles to the faces of the people in our care. Your duties will include supporting with personal care tasks, making up beds, posture care, meal preparation, feeding and PEG care, clinical needs and social activities. You'll work as part of a small team of health and social care workers in the homes of our clients.

It is essential that you have prior experience of supporting service users with learning disabilities, challenging behaviours, palliative care and working within children's services.

Minimum requirements

We look for carers with at least 6 months of professional caring experience, SSSC registration is required before joining our team. However, we're not just looking for clinical experience - we also want candidates to be able to demonstrate occasions where they have exhibited our core values of positivity, trustworthiness, respectfulness, understanding, kindness, and calmness.

You'll need to feel comfortable helping service users with limited mobility. If you do not have a current Moving and Handling certificate, we will support you with training during your induction period.

The right to work in the UK is a must-have, as is access to a smart device.

You will need to be a driver for this role.
