As a Learning Disabilities Support Worker in Colchester and the surrounding areas, you'll be a professional multi-tasker who enjoys bringing joy and comfort to the people in your care. You'll be ready to embrace new responsibilities working in a range of establishments in your area. Your varying duties will include supporting service users with daily living tasks and social activities. You must be patient, compassionate and understanding when supporting service users with various learning disabilities.

What we're looking for

To join Newcross as a support worker, you must have a minimum of 3 months of paid experience from within the past 3 years, including moving and handling and personal care experience. You'll need the right to live and work in the UK. Plus, access to a smart device with an internet connection is required to pick up shifts and submit timesheets through our bespoke app, HealthForceGo. Having access to your own vehicle would be beneficial.

We also expect all health and social care professionals to demonstrate our core values of trust, empathy and expertise during every shift.
