As a Support Worker in Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch and the surrounding areas, you'll be working weekend shifts to provide support and assistance to children with complex healthcare needs. Your duties will be varied, with some healthcare support needed. You may also be required to assist with trips out in the community, shopping, social activities, appointments and other day-to-day tasks. It is the hard work of our dedicated health and social care staff that allows children to receive the care they need within their own home!

What you'll need

To join us as a Support Worker, you'll need at least 3 months of professional caring experience. We also accept applications from individuals with experience of caring for a loved one. You'll need a valid Moving and Handling certificate and must feel comfortable helping service users with limited mobility. In addition to your clinical experience, you must be approachable, understanding, and keen to become an essential part of your service users' support network.

You will also need access to a smart device with working internet to use our app, HealthForceGo. The right to work in the UK is a must. Access to your own vehicle would be beneficial.
