We are a successful, highly ambitious and progressive business with plans to grow exponentially. We embrace technology and innovation, evolving faster than the world around us to ensure we are best placed to meet our client’s needs and exceed their expectations.

Learning and development has always been at our core and this new role builds on our successful digital transformation of learning, with the release of ‘The Newcross World’ – an intuitive and interactive interface for learners to manage and develop their skills and careers within the healthcare sector. The next exciting phase will be to offer our learning externally to the wider healthcare sector and become healthcare professionals’ and organisations’ ‘Learning Partner for Life’.

Your role…

As a member of the Learning Innovation team you will help us to ensure our healthcare staff have the mandatory training they need to provide care as well as grow the skills base of our workforce and eventually of the global healthcare workforce.  Your role in this will be to support users of our service (both our own employees and client users) with any issues that they encounter. You will weave in and out of different systems to diagnose and fix problems, keeping a friendly and helpful attitude and recognising the urgency that users have.

With exciting times of growth ahead, this role will give you the opportunity to develop and grow your skills with the possibility of managing a team of your own in the future.

Key aspects of the role will include:

  • Responding to incoming emails, calls and messages from our users quickly, efficiently and in a friendly way
  • Reporting on our programme of healthcare and office staff webinars
  • Maintaining the efficiency of the system
  • Scheduling and booking face to face training events
  • Providing regular and specific reports on the performance of the system and our learners
  • Helping with course set ups including creating and reporting on feedback forms
  • Supporting the team to personalise our celebration of learner achievements

The skills and attributes you’ll bring…

You will be very familiar with IT support and/ or systems administration, experience with Learning Management systems would be a distinct advantage however we will consider any type of user support experience.

Above all though we are looking for someone who has the right behaviours and attitude to further add to the success of our fantastic team, so if you can put a tick next to all the points below then we would love to hear from you!

  • Responsive, helpful and friendly at every interaction
  • A good eye for detail and a thorough, structured approach to problem solving
  • You will want to learn, grow and develop in your role and as a person
  • You will be pleasant to work with, approachable and someone people enjoy interacting with

This role will be primarily 'home based', therefore you must have a suitable, dedicated workspace available within your home.
