Message from Kim Keen our new Training Officer!

Training Officer Kim Keen now in post to assist with all training courses for nurses, carers, healthcare assistants, support workers and much more!

I'm Kim the new Training Officer for Newcross Healthcare.  I live near Exeter so I am quite central for the southern branches (but don't worry Scotland, I'm not scared of flying).  I admire the innovation, passion and commitment that this company has to be the best and I believe that it is my role to ensure effective training replicates this.

My immediate priorities are to ensure that the minimum requirements are met for Moving and Handling and Basic Life Support.

My role will be to centralise and co-ordinate training activity.  It will also be my role to assess and address all current and future training needs across the company.  To ensure that training sessions meet the required standard and exceed expectation, that they are evaluated and training credits are effectively being used by our staff for their, clients and the company's advantage.

I will also be looking at the induction process and contributing towards the improvement for both office and outworkers.

I'm in my 5th week of working for Newcross and loving every minute, everyone has been kind and helpful.  I have already met and spoken to many of you and looking forward to meeting and working with you all.

See you all soon
