Newcombe and Newcross Partner Up

This week James Newcombe joined the Newcross team as the new business centre manager for Exeter. We caught up with James and asked him about his experience and why he wanted to work for Newcross.

Tell us a little bit about your previous experience and career before you joined Newcross?

“In my previous role I had management responsibility for Customer Service Team Managers, Business Analysts and the Aftersales Departments. I led these individuals and collaborated with others to promote personal development as well as coaching them through the areas where they needed additional support.”

What makes you tick?

“I thrive on a target based work environment and I know it brings the best out of me. The sectors I have worked in are very strictly regulated and compliance is always high on the agenda. My excellent relationship building skills ensure I work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.”

Why did you want to join Newcross?

“I want to work with an ambitious and growing business that matches my desire to succeed and provide exceptional levels of customer service. I know that this is the type of environment where I am at my most effective and the opportunity to apply the skills that I have developed over the years in a role within the care sector and with Newcross Healthcare Solutions in particular is a very enticing prospect.”

Do you have any hobbies outside of work?

“I loved to spend time outside with my family and enjoy exploring the countryside. I love sport and I’m a very keen golfer and cyclist. I’m a huge football fan and I am a qualified FA football coach and am part of the Exeter City Development Centre which aims to bring the best out of talented young footballers.”
