Newcross awarded prestigious information security management certification

Newcross Healthcare Solutions has today announced achieving the ISO 27001 Information Security Management Systems accreditation, certified by QMS International.

The ISO 27001 award serves as formal recognition of Newcross' continued diligence in ensuring data integrity, and an assurance to the entirety of Newcross' clients and employees that various systems and rigorous procedures are in place to safeguard their security. Achieving the prestigious certification requires strict practice of operating standards, with only 1% of British businesses succeeding in gaining ISO 27001 accreditation.

To achieve the esteemed accreditation Newcross Healthcare Solutions were required to undergo a rigorous audit process to demonstrate their compliance to the international standard. Recognised in over 150 countries world-wide, the award demands an independent assessment followed by strict internal review on an annual basis. Lead Assessor of QMS International, Stephen Carter, paid tribute to the "investment in people and training that enables Newcross Healthcare Solutions to provide an efficient and secure service to their customers"
