Newcross MacMillan Coffee Morning

Newcross is proud to have held a MacMillan coffee morning across all of our branches on Friday 30th September with Newcross staff raising a massive £3209.43!

There was excitement across the business with cakes and coffee being served up for a great cause (There were even bacon butties being served up at head office by the company treasurer David Pritchard!).

Each of our branches did fundraising in their own way, here are a few photos from Newcross branches around the country:

Across the branches we also saw fancy dress, raffles, professional massages, and of course, lots of cake and coffee!

In particular we would like to mention Hazel Mitchell who manages our Fife and Falkirk branches. She raised a massive £200 by enlisting the help of her mother to encourage people into the branch from the street to join in the coffee morning!

We are pleased to announce that as a result of the Newcross coffee morning we raised a total of £860.10! Our treasurer, David Pritchard, also did some additional fundraising in the South West including Devon, Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire which brought the total to £3209.43!

This is a fantastic result and we are very pleased to have been raising money for such a good cause.

We are already looking forward to the next one!
