Newcross Manager James McAlpine braves ice bucket challenge to raise money for MND Association

Anyone with a facebook, twitter or youtube account can’t have missed seeing at least one ice bucket challenge video. So far, this campaign not only done a fantastic job of raising awareness of this chronic condition, but it has raised a staggering 6 million pounds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association and is still drawing in donations.

Newcross has always been a big supporter of charity activities, but in this case it’s a cause that we’re particularly passionate about. We care for many people with motor neurone disease and raising money to support of the MND Association and their research into the condition means so much.

Operations Director, Geoff White, said, “We care for many clients across the UK with motor neurone disease, so this is a cause very close to our heart. The popularity of this challenge has been astounding, and we’re delighted to support the cause"

It's now up to Liverpool Manager Ruth Bellis, Regional Manager Mandy Hamilton and HR Director Tracy Willday to take up the challenge! For the first 50 Newcross members of staff that take up the challenge, Taunton will donate £10 to the cause!
