Bristol branch donate 'reverse advent calendar' to Shelter
This week, Beth and Sophia from our Bristol office donated a 'reverse advent calendar' to the charity Shelter, which contained many items that were given by the Bristol branch over the month of December.
Reverse advent calendars work by filling them every day with items of food or clothing that can then be taken to a food bank or charity in order to help those less fortunate that are struggling at Christmas time.
Toothbrushes, biscuits, and tins of soup were among the items contributed by the branch.
Shelter is a registered charity that campaigns to end homelessness and bad housing in England and Scotland. It helps millions of people every year struggling with bad housing or homelessness through their advice, support, and legal services. They campaign to make sure that, one day, no one will have to turn to them for help.
