CQC reports 'Good' for Truro Complex Care Branch
For the second time running our Truro branch has been rated overall as ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) for their Complex Care service. The unannounced visit illustrates the continuous delivery of a high-quality service we provide, and how fundamental this is to us.
CQC is the independent regulator of all health and social care in England who registers, monitors and inspects all health and care services on behalf of the government. The report found that staff were well motivated and passionate about making a difference to people’s lives and that quality care and support to meet the needs of each individual client was reflected in the level of work received.
Stephen Pattrick CEO concluded, “At Newcross, we take pride in offering a truly personalised care and support service, developed to enrich the care receivers’ life and ultimately, helping them to lead the most independent and fulfilling life they can.”
Michelle Damerell, Truro Complex Care manager said, “I am delighted with the rating we have received from CQC. To be awarded ‘Good’ is fantastic and testament to the whole complex care team in Truro. Our staff are extremely dedicated, passionate and work incredibly hard so they thoroughly deserve this recognition.”
