We sat down with Alison and asked her a few questions about what she did before joining Newcross, and found out what makes her tick.
Why did you want to join Newcross?
Newcross has an excellent reputation in the market place and delivers the highest standards of care. As a Business Centre Manager I could see this was a really exciting role where I could use my previous experience and drive the business forward.
What did you do before joining Newcross?
Before joining Newcross I was a GP Practice Manager. My role involved managing two practices in Newcastle. Before that I worked as a Customer Experience Manager for both BGL group and Barclays Bank PLC. Thanks to the experience I gained from working for those organisations I developed leadership skills and confidence in handling a whole range of situations and people.
What are you most looking forward to in your role?
I am most looking forward to making a difference to the care vulnerable people receive and to help deliver the best care possible for our clients. I’m also looking forward to working with the great team at Newcastle to deliver the highest standards, the utmost commitment to our staff and clients and exceeding our goals.
What do you like to do outside of work?
Outside of work I enjoy going to the gym and learning to play golf. I also love to travel overseas and am a huge fan of experimental cooking and dining out.
