Newcross ranked as one of South West’s fastest growing companies

The Western Morning News has named Newcross Healthcare  as one of the ‘Fastest Growing Companies’ in the South West, earmarking the Business “One to Watch.”

The national healthcare company made a convincing debut entering in the top half of the rankings at number 35, with a 22% growth rate over the 2009-2013 time period.  The 2014 list compiled by KPMG in association with Lloyds Bank and Ashfords, recognises Newcross Healthcare’s unrivalled growth to become one of the most successful healthcare companies in the UK, with nearly 40 branches across the country.

The Fast Growth 75 list, ranks companies based on average sales growth over the previous 4 year period.  Inclusion in the annual list, requires companies to both have a registered office and operate from Devon or Cornwall.  Companies on the list must also have a turnover greater than £100,000 in the first of the four year’ accounts reviewed and over £1 million in the latest year, with a consistent reporting structure throughout the four years.  All companies that met the criteria are then ranked by mean sales growth over the four-year period to arrive at the final list of 75.

Ian Brokenshire, office senior partner at KPMG in Plymouth said of the companies in the top 75, “Achieving, and sustaining, growth at this level is no mean feat.” He continued “These companies are the engine room of the South West’s economy and will play a pivotal role in securing the region’s future.”

Newcross Healthcare, founder and CEO, Stephen Pattrick said of the achievement, “Newcross is at a very exciting stage of its development, preparing to open its 36th branch this autumn.  The company is delivering exponential growth which is set to continue at over 40% per annum.  This is testament to our exceptional nurses and healthcare workers, office and management team that together have worked so hard to deliver this outstanding result.”
