Newcross showcases the best of Nursing at Congress 2016

Hundreds of nurses have been visiting the Newcross Healthcare stand at RCN Congress which is taking place from 18th – 21st June in Glasgow.

As an Official RCN Centenary Supporter, this year the Newcross stand showcases the past, present and future of nursing through video imagery, social media and Newcross’ twitter chat #NurChat. The stand also features a dedicated ‘Newcross Revalidation Station’ which is manned by Newcross Nurses who are part of the company’s Clinical Excellence team. Nurses can learn more about the support on offer at Newcross; learn more about the Revalidation process, discuss evidence checks, reflective writing, obtain feedback and have any other questions answered.

As it celebrates its 20th year Newcross is also launching an exclusive Platinum Reward Promotion to new nurses or nurses wishing to re-join the company. Delegates will have the opportunity to find the nursing job that rewards their dedication to clinical excellence, with a £500 cash reward, flexible hours, specialised nurse training and a free uniform and DBS/PVG check up front.

Delegates visiting the stand will also have a unique opportunity to win prizes by posting #NurChatSelfies from the stand and get live updates from the Congress floor via its social media live stream.

Michelle Gorringe (RN), Managing Director said: “It has been real pleasure meeting everyone and we have had some fantastic feedback in particular about the Nurse training we offer. We are delighted to be able to showcase all that Newcross has to offer Nurses who are looking to progress their careers in a company that puts quality care at the heart of everything it does.

“We are also extremely pleased to be supporting the RCN as an Official Centenary Supporter and we look forward with them to the next 100 years of providing quality nursing care that promotes excellence in practice.”

Stephen Pattrick CEO concluded: “As a growing nationwide company with a network of over 50 branches we wanted to ensure that this was reflected in Newcross’ representation at this years’ RCN Congress.

“Newcross nursing is different; we are able to provide training and support that is second to none, and at the same time offer interesting, flexible roles with great rewards that allow nurses to have the best work / life balance. It certainly has been a busy event so far and we are looking forward to introducing many more delegates to Newcross Nursing.”
