Newcross staff 'do something funny for money'

Our Truro branch team and their impressive range of home-made cakes

On Friday 13th March, Newcross staff nationwide went the extra mile, coming to work in fancy dress costumes to “do something funny for money”, selling home-made cakes or dressing down for the day to raise money for Comic Relief.

On the day, fancy dress themes ranged from cartoon characters to police officers, from toga outfits to impersonations of our senior management team!

Donations from every team were collected and counted and the total raised was £441. This was generously matched by Managing Director Michelle Gorringe RN and CEO Stephen Pattrick, bringing the total donation for this wonderful cause to an amazing £882.

Newcross is delighted to have helped raise money and awareness for Comic Relief and we will continue with our fundraising activities throughout the year.
