Newcross Healthcare is seeking Personal Care Assistants to care and support our service users living with additional healthcare needs in their own homes in Torbay, Teignbridge, South Hams and the surrounding areas. We are seeking dedicated Personal Care Assistants to care for our service users living with additional healthcare needs in Torbay, Teignbridge, South Hams and the surrounding areas.

Personal care role

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring that our service users living with additional care needs receive the highest quality of care and support. You will provide assistance with personal care tasks, clinical requirements, feeding and peg care, medication support, social activities within their local community and any additional services needed.

Flexi Pay!

Our 'same day pay' service will enable you to have access to an advance of up to 50% of the value of your shift on the same day. (Includes weekends and bank holidays)

Minimum requirements

  • The right to live and work in the UK
  • At least 3 months' previous care experience
  • Certification in a practical Moving and Handling course in the last 12 months
  • Have access to a smartphone, with internet access to manage your rotas
  • Access to your own vehicle is desirable, but not mandatory
