Newcross Healthcare is seeking Personal Care Assistants to work waking night shifts providing care to a young child with SMA and additional healthcare needs in their home in Brixham. We are seeking Personal Care Assistants to work waking night shifts caring for a young child with SMA and a peg in situ living in the Brixham area.

Role

You will ensure that our service users receive excellent care and support with a range of different tasks. These will include assisting with personal care, clinical needs, social activities and any other services needed.

Additional tasks will include aiding with night time monitoring and regularly moving and handling our service user.

Shifts for this role include Waking Nights from 22:00pm to 08:00am.

Role Specification

  • The right to live and work in the UK
  • At least 3 months' previous care experience
  • Certification in a practical Moving and Handling course in the last 12 months
  • Have access to a smartphone, with internet access to manage your rotas
  • Access to your own vehicle is desirable, but not mandatory
