Running Marathons and Raising Money
Three of Newcross' office employees have taken to the tarmac, running marathons and raising money for charity. We caught up with Nicola Fordham, Bournemouth Business Centre Manager and Finance's Nick Harris and Kayleigh Godfrey to find out what motivated them to take on the miles.

Ten thousand runners and thirty thousand spectators lined the streets of Southampton on Sunday the 23rd of April, our very own Nicola Fordham was one of those runners.
Nicola used to run 10k reguarly before she had her twin Daughters, and last December her and her husband decided they wanted to get fitter. Nicola said, "We started a 4 month training programme on the 4th of December and stuck to it every single day".
"It was a very warm day, but we both completed it, and I was only 9 minutes behind my husband"
Together they have raised £258 for Macmillan, their chosen charity, and welcome anyone who would like to donate to this cause, you can donate here.
Nick Harris and Kayleigh Godfrey
Both active runners who regularly take part in the local 3 mile Park Run every Saturday, Nick and Kayleigh decided they wanted a bigger challenge.
So after hearing about the British Heart Foundation My Marathon on the radio they grabbed the opportunity and took on the challenge of running 26.2 miles over the coming weeks.
Kayleigh said, "We have started our running every Wednesday and Saturday, already having completed over 3 miles and are excited for the challenge ahead. It really helps having Nick as we can motivate each other".
You can donate to the British Heart Foundation here.
Newcross would like to congratulate Nicola on her fantastic achievement and would like to wish Nick and Kayleigh good luck on their upcoming challenge.
