Newcross Healthcare is seeking Senior Care Assistants to care for our service users living in Tyne & Wear and the surrounding areas. Newcross Healthcare are searching for experienced Senior Care Assistants to care and support our service users in a variety of exceptional nursing, residential and specialist care homes across Newcastle, Gateshead, Tynemouth, Wallsend, Jarrow, Low Fell, Tyneside and the surrounding towns of Tyne and Wear.

In this position you will be playing an essential role in helping our service users to live fulfilling lives, assisting them with their personal and clinical needs and interacting with them and their families.

Your new team:

Our Newcastle branch is located at 156 Sandyford Road near the university in city centre. We cover areas as far north as Ashington and Carlisle in the west.

You will need:

  • The right to live and work in the UK
  • At least 3 months' previous care experience
  • Certification in a practical Moving and Handling course in the last 12 months
  • Medication Adminstration certificate
  • NVQ3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care
  • Have access to a smart device, with internet access to manage your rotas
  • Access to your own vehicle is desirable, but not mandatory
