Team Newcross take on wheely big challenge for charity

The summer of 2014 will see a team of Newcross staff members face their biggest challenge yet. Dedicated cyclists, from both office and healthcare staff, will form Team Newcross and cycle from London to Paris in aid of Action Medical Research for Children.

Team Newcross includes representatives from all corners of the United Kingdom, and will be led by CEO Stephen Pattrick as they ride through the rolling countryside of Southern England and across Northern France before ending their gruelling 261 mile trek in the French capital.

The Action London to Paris bike ride is a classic and highly ranked challenge, and will be sure to push the team to their limits. Not to be taken lightly, the team are already planning extensive training to ensure they can meet the challenge and in doing so raise an incredible amount of money for a worthy cause, with an initial fundraising target of over £15,000!

CEO and team leader Stephen Pattrick said, "Newcross is committed to supporting charity activities for great causes, and we are delighted to have a team that can represent Newcross in this exciting challenge. Action Medical Research does fantastic work to help sick and disabled infants and children, and we will be doing everything we can to contribute towards this wonderful cause".
