Pay Rate: From £14.25 per hour

Regular weekly hours: Thurs & Fri - 09:00-16:30 & one additional day (Tues or Weds 09:00-15:00)

Your Role: Supporting Independence | Enriching Lives

We are recruiting Female Support Workers to join our Community Care team. This package involves supporting an 18 year-old young woman with learning disabilities at her home in Dawlish, to access the local community and participate in activities.
We are looking for compassionate, reliable and patient individuals who can build strong, positive and trusting relationships over time. A driver is preferred; however not essential.

Your responsibilities:

• Personal care and support: Assisting with daily routines to promote comfort and wellbeing
  
  

• Companionship: Offering warmth, kindness and a friendly face
  
  

• Promoting independence: Encouraging clients to live fulfilled lives with autonomy
  
  

• Community access: Helping clients engage in their local community and participate in activities.
  
  

• Medication support: Safe, timely administration of medication
  
  

What we're looking for:

• At least 3 months of paid professional care experience (or personal care experience in the UK)
  
  

• The right to work in the UK
  
  

• Registration with SSSC (applicants in Scotland) or SCW (applicants in Wales)
  
  

• Ability to understand both verbal and written English to follow care plans and communicate effectively
  
  

• Hold our qualities of Empathy, Integrity, Respect, Teamwork and the ability to deliver exceptional care.
  
  

• This specific package requires a female community healthcare assistant.
