Stephen Pattrick’s nomination follows considerable, year on year growth for Newcross Healthcare, one of the UK's most successful providers of staffing solutions for health and complex care needs for private, public and individual clients. The business which started in Torquay in 1996 now has over 40 offices across the UK with more set to open in the near future. The continued growth and success of the business, which prides itself on clinical quality, has led to Newcross being named as one of the ‘Fastest Growing Companies’ in the South West of England and earmarked as ‘One to Watch’ by The Fast Growth 75 list compiled by KPMG in association with Lloyds Bank and Ashfords.
Now in its 17th year, Entrepreneur of the Year celebrates individuals who are building and leading successful, growing and dynamic businesses, recognising them through regional, national and global awards programs in more than 145 cities, in 60 countries. The award encourages entrepreneurial activity among those with potential and recognises the contribution of people who inspire others with their vision, leadership and achievement.
Newcross Healthcare, co-founder and CEO, Stephen Pattrick said of the achievement, “I was surprised and delighted to be nominated for this prestigious award. Newcross is not about 1 person, it is about a whole team, a family, who have made the company what it is today. This award nomination is testament to their work and commitment and is as much for them and my fellow Newcross co-founder, Michelle Gorringe, as it is for me."
