Shift pattern: Client 1 - 09:00 - 15:00 & 22:00 - 07:00 (waking nights) CF3 area | Client 2 - 08:00 - 20:00 & 08:00 - 16:00 & 20:00 - 08:00 (waking nights) CF14 area
Your role: Supporting Independence | Enriching Lives
As a Community Care Worker, you will provide life enhancing, person centred care to
people within their own homes in Cardiff. Your compassion and dedication will help people
live safely, with dignity and independence.
Applicants must have previous experience with Tracheostomy Care and Airway Management
to be considered for this role.
Your responsibilities
Personal care and support: Assisting with daily routines to promote comfort and wellbeing.
Companionship: Offering warmth, kindness and a friendly face.
Promoting independence: Encouraging clients to live fulfilled lives with autonomy.
Community access: Helping clients engage in their local community.
Medication support: Safe, timely administration of medication.
Specialist clinical care: Supporting clients with complex needs confidently and competently - Tracheostomy and PEG.
Palliative and end of life care (where applicable): Providing compassionate care during life's most sensitive moments.
What you need
At least 6 months of paid professional care experience (or personal care experience in the UK).
Confidence supporting individuals with limited mobility (moving and handling).
The right to work in the UK.
Proven Tracheostomy and PEG experience and competency.
Registration with SSSC (applicants in Scotland) or SCW (applicants in Wales).
Ability to understand both verbal and written English to follow care plans and communicate effectively.
